Graham Gussin
Graham Gussin (1960, London, UK) studied at the Middlesex Polytechnic (1981-85) and Chelsea School of Art, London (1990). He has an extensive career as a university lecturer and is currently teaching Sculpture on Masters courses at Slade School of Fine Art, University College London.
Gussin uses a variety of means to produce his work, including text, film, photography, sound, installation, and drawing, and addresses notions of time, space, and scale. Through the use of science fiction titles, film scenes or dialogue pieces, Gussin explores ideas about landscape, translation, movement, and narrative. The viewer often plays a vital role in the artist's work, in the sense that, from their own experience, they complete the same work.
