Ana Santos

“Water and All That Resonates” (Antena 1 album) is the debut solo album by Ana Santos’s musical project, which tells stories of placeless landscapes, narrated through the sound of instruments and soundscapes “captured” along the river and in small towns in her native South. It is also the title of the show presenting this work, which features songs composed by her. Ana Santos’s viola campaniça and violins are joined by Sebastião Santos’s percussion and synthesizers, João Mota’s viola amarantina and vocals, and Margarida Santos’s glockenspiel, percussion and guitar. The show will also feature appearances by guests such as Celina da Piedade, Cristina Taquelim and Miguel Rego.
