The prominent Brazilian jazz composer and singer is a unique artist: she shaped her voice and musicality by navigating the jazz nights of São Paulo, immersed herself in the worlds of bossa nova and MPB (Brazilian popular music), and emerged with fresh, melodic, and original music.
In this concert in Lisbon, Anna Setton presents her own compositions and arrangements, including new pieces that will be part of her upcoming work, as well as some major classics of Brazilian music. The performance showcases her powerful yet intimate voice, accompanied by Edu Sangirardi (keyboard) and Thiago Alves (double bass).
