Have you ever slept in a museum? When the lights go out, silence fills the rooms. By the light of a flashlight, the works of art take on an air of mystery. A night at the museum becomes an adventure brimming with curiosity, with secrets visible only in the darkness. At dawn, the family takes part in a “peddy paper” scavenger hunt, in which children and adults become cultural detectives and explore the galleries in search of hidden clues. Along the way, they encounter unexpected challenges that encourage observation and the connection between the past and the present. On a journey through the works of the Armando Martins collection, we will discover what art hides and what the curious gaze insists on unveiling.
Participants should bring a sleeping bag, pillow, toothbrush, toiletries, face towel, any necessary medication (if needed), and comfortable clothing for activities and sleeping.
Parents can take advantage of special rates for a night at the MACAM hotel.
