Essa Mulher — Nani Sings Elis is a concert celebrating the life, work and memory of Elis Regina, one of singer Nani Medeiros’s greatest artistic influences.
Originally from Porto Alegre, like Elis, Nani has been developing projects dedicated to the renowned Brazilian singer’s repertoire since 2012, delving deeply into her discography and artistic journey.
Over the years, she has taken part in cultural projects with musician and writer Arthur de Faria, one of Elis’s foremost biographers, and has shared the stage with Chico Batera, Elis Regina’s principal percussionist.
Presented in an intimate format, the concert brings together iconic songs and lesser-known pieces, with arrangements specially adapted for voice and acoustic guitar.
