Guided tour: “Other Spaces - Photography in the Américo Marques Collection"

The guided tour of the exhibition OTHER SPACES – Photography in the Américo Marques Collection, part of The House of Private Collections concept, offers an in-depth exploration of the photography core of Américo Marques' private collection, guiding visitors through a route that follows the exhibition's curatorial proposal.

Based on a poetics of relationships between different generations, geographies, and sensibilities, the tour highlights the thematic and conceptual diversity of contemporary photography, from the late 1950s to the present day. Throughout the tour, works by internationally renowned artists such as Bernd Becher & Hilla Becher, Andreas Gursky, Candida Höfer, Cindy Sherman, Nan Goldin, Helmut Newton, Martin Parr, Thomas Ruff, and Wolfgang Tillmans, among many others, are featured.
