The Castle is the beginning. Where it all really started. Pedro Oliveira (Sétima Legião), José Sousa and Luis Aires (Rodrigo Leão) decided in 2006 to make an album together. To start composing.
And so it was born, at Sousa's house, which they nicknamed The Castle, a name that became a reference for the project. It was there that the first chords were created, the first films were shot and the first meetings took place, with José Sousa on guitar, Pedro Oliveira adding his style, and Luís Aires contributing some great creative moments on bass. In a second phase, the musical arrangements for the songs were made at Tabaqueira Estudio.
The history of O Castelo is marked by a creative process developed in different studios, including Frágil BA and Armazém 42. The first official release took place in 2012, with the track Magnífica Luz, included in the album Lisboa, with artistic direction by Rodrigo Leão.

For tonight, at the àCapela - Live Arts&Bar space at MACAM, O Castelo invites musician, producer and friend João Eleutério to perform the first part of the concert. Together with his son António, he will present songs from his new project "Tempo Demais".
