Renowned for her emotive and captivating voice, dreamy aesthetics and folk influences combined with pop sensibilities, Cat Falcão has been a respected figure on the alternative music scene in Portugal since she appeared in 2014 alongside her sister in Golden Slumbers. In 2018, she made her solo debut with the album ‘One’ under the stage name Monday. In 2020, she returned with a different sound on the EP ‘Room for All,’ a collection of colourful, captivating and vibrant songs.
In May 2024, she released the album ‘Underwater, feels like eternity’ – a dreamlike collection of tracks with delicate arrangements that encapsulate a period of deep reflection and seclusion in the artist's life. Monday was responsible for the production. This year, she immersed herself in the project ‘Live Underwater,’ in which she presents live and intimate versions of the tracks ‘Wasteland,’ ‘When I Love Another Man,’ ‘One Foot in Line,’ and ‘On and On.’
This show is part of a cycle of monthly solo concerts at MACAM promoted by Locomotiva Azul, with a focus on promoting and disseminating the work of its artists.
