The artist Ana Vieira (1940-2016) created complex installations that challenge the way they are presented and preserved in the long term.
In 2022, MACAM acquired the video installation "The Drawing of the Girl Running Away from Her Support" (2014). Its presentation in the exhibition "The Self as Multiple" promotes reflection on the memory and conservation of these works in the museum.
