Filipe Chambel Trio
Filipe Chambel, who studied at the Hot Clube and is now at the ESML, has always been interested in a variety of musical styles, with a particular fascination for improvisation and the interaction between musicians. In this concert, he is joined by Guilherme Fradinho and Vasco Pereira, with the priority being the musical dialogue between the three of them, aiming to create moments in which each musician’s personality coexists and influences the music, which will be based on pieces by American composers from different eras of jazz, such as Duke Ellington, Charles Mingus, and Paul Motian.
