Gisela Mabel is a Portuguese-Angolan pianist, composer, and producer born in the Algarve and based in Lisbon. Her music seamlessly blends classical and jazz foundations with African and Brazilian influences, creating a unique sonic language defined by expressive depth and emotional resonance. She made her debut as an independent artist at Ageas Cool Jazz with her EP “Álbum de Retratos,” which earned Best Jazz Album of the Year at the SoloPiano Awards. In 2025, Gisela became the first Portuguese artist to be featured in the official Piano Day compilation (founded by Nils Frahm), cementing her place as a rising force in both the national and international contemporary music scenes.
