Guided tour: “Weight-Counterweight”

“Weight-Counterweight” brings together three-dimensional works from the MACAM collection that explore the concepts of balance, tension, and transformation. Drawing on themes such as nature, abstraction, the city, and resistance, the exhibition is organized around these premises, inviting visitors to reflect on the forces that shape both built and natural spaces. Through sculptures and installations, Portuguese and international artists investigate relationships of weight and counterweight that go beyond the material dimension of the works, inviting symbolic, social, and political interpretations.
