(dis)balance
Sofia Nunes – vocals
Sílvia Ferreira – piano
Sílvia Ferreira (keyboard) and Sofia Nunes (vocals) present (dis)balance, a project centred on the delicate balance between the different dimensions that shape life: how a single word can change everything; how an event can alter a particular course; how someone’s presence contrasts with their absence; how the imagination can transform reality; how peace can give way to war; and how certainty can so easily turn into uncertainty. Each song has been chosen to reflect one of these facets, weaving together an intimate yet universal narrative. For 60 minutes, through a fusion of jazz, improvisation and poetry, the audience is invited to enter into a musical dialogue between voice and keyboard, characterised by complicity, listening and sharing.
