Play Cart

The Play Cart is a travelling trolley created to provide a unique experience at MACAM, with playful and artistic activities inspired by the works in the exhibitions and other spaces in the museum. Participants can explore different forms of artistic expression, such as drawing, painting, collage, writing and acting. 

Every month, Play Cart moves on to a new theme, presenting fresh proposals and encouraging participants to return to the museum for future initiatives.

Just turn up and roll up your sleeves to experience art in a special way! A member of the MeP team will be waiting to surprise you.

25 January I From emotion to shape  

Sometimes it is difficult to explain how we feel. We try to express ourselves through gestures, expressions, or even metaphors. But what if we could give shape to our emotions? With the help of small wooden blocks, we will structure what is inside us and give shape and weight to everything we feel on a daily basis.

22 February I Getting things mixed up
In a topsy-turvy world, stories intersect and switch places (we hope not to get things mixed up!). Everything we need to decipher this upside-down universe is right under our noses. With our heads in the moon… or in the clouds, we open our hearts to chance and provocation, letting art and life blend and the ordinary turn into the extraordinary.

21 and 22 March | The Collector of Words 

What do you most enjoy collecting? Trading cards, stamps, or works of art? Inspired by our surroundings, we will collect letters, words, and ideas and discover new meanings that give rise to poetry in motion. Words can travel down unexpected paths, perhaps even through yogurt cups! In the realm of imagination, everything becomes part of the most precious of collections.
