Neil Fernandes is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, music producer and dancer with many years of experience working in different parts of the world. Born in Goa and now based in Lisbon, his work combines influences from Goan culture and the counterculture movement, with a jazz-fusion approach.
A songwriter in English, Portuguese and Konkani (a language spoken in the Konkan region of India, where Goa is located), as well as a composer of instrumental pieces, Neil has a strong awareness of his identity, while also bringing a deeply spiritual dimension to his work.
He will present this project featuring songs from his new album. The concert will also feature Alexandre Pinheiro on saxophone and Edgar Brito on percussion.
