​Hiss

Hiss evokes the idea of communication that travels across distance and manifests itself through sound and air. The two walls of MACAM’s Grand Hall engage with one another through parabolic forms, creating a relationship between transmission and reception and giving shape to a sound that travels through space. By exploring what happens between those who transmit and those who listen, the work establishes a relationship between voice and landscape, between the visible and the invisible. The installation invites attentive listening, revealing space as a living matter, traversed by sounds, signals and resonances. This will be the first edition of the partnership between MACAM and Artworks.

MURMUR is a project integrated into MACAM's exhibition program and aims to present original installations by emerging artists, designed specifically for the walls of the Great Hall in the New Wing of the museum. Starting from the idea of murmuring, and referencing the space itself, it establishes a dialogue between each artist, the architecture, and the public. This project has a close partnership with Artworks.
