Avelino Sala
Avelino Sala (1972, Gijón, Spain) studied art criticism at Brighton University in the United Kingdom between 1998 and 2001. He works as an artist, curator and editor. In 2002 he founded Sublime magazine and in 2008 he founded the Curatorial Commission group, which operates in the production and management of artistic projects.
He writes about contemporary art for magazines and publications, among which: Contemporary, The Politics of Art, Cure Magazine and Rome. His artistic work questions the current cultural and social situation and explores the capacity of art to generate spaces of experimentation for the creation of new realities.
